Quotation #1

"Little by little, one travels far." -J.R.R Tolkien

If you take your time using baby step you'll achieve greater things in life compared to moving faster and farther where you wouldn't achieve much. By saying taking little steps you'll travel farther than taking large steps J.R.R Tolkien is motivating us to take one's time when doing things. By taking large, fast steps and rushing through things we will end up missing the good things, and sometimes be lead in the wrong direction. Whereas if you take small steps slowly you won't miss important details and you'll be able to be motivated to lead yourself in the direction you KNOW you want to go in.

J.R.R Tolkien is the author of this quote. He is a very inspiring writer who wrote one of the most amazing book series which has been recreated into a fantastic series of movies as well. My concept is motivation and this quote I feel really incorporates it. It's an indirect form of motivation because it doesn't directly state it, you have to think about what it truly means. In the book and movie series Lord of the Rings each one of his characters contain some sort of motivation. Frodo for example must take the ring to the firy depths of Mordor, and that I think requires quite a bit of motivation to steer him in the right direction...
