""Remember what Bilbo used to say: It's a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to.""-Bilbo Baggins
Here, Bilbo Baggins is motivating Frodo to make sure he keeps his feet planted so he doesn't get swept off to places he doesn't want to end up. He knows that the adventure Frodo is about to embark on is a dangerous one but believes Frodo can succeed with a clear mind. This connects with my concept motivation because he's telling Frodo of the dangers in this world and he needs to keep his head straight and make good choices so he isn't lead in bad directions.
I took it as when you step into life if you don't keep your feet planted you may get swept off to anywhere life may take you even places you may not want to end up. Without motivating him to keep his feet planted who knows what might have happened to Frodo, or where he may have ended up...
